Did anyone manage to get a ticket? Don't think the loyalty sale got below 1750pts and the last 200 released for general sale at 5pm on Friday went in 10 seconds...
With the game fast approaching it will be interesting to see the team sheet to see if Walsh gets dropped. Hes had four games to settle in I think he was at fault for the Charlton goal. His handling and kicking has been mentioned too. There were also rumours we tried to get another keeper in during the window.
I think Walsh has got another two games to settle, otherwise Nardi will be in.

He's been terrible, Charlton goal was a joke, his kicking is random at best. Nardi was great last season, need him back between the sticks.
If we did try and get dieng back then js don’t fancy either imo
Dieng also had his faults being old school catch it ain’t gonna score while it’s in your hands, Dieng seemed to let far too many in from distance but Dieng had better goal scoring record !
think all agree nardi gives us the edge of seat moments and for such a young gk you’d expect better, then again Trafford cost city millions and he’s been canned and made errors ruthless position to play with only 1 spot up for grabs
Yeah, saw the Dieng and thought the same about Walsh & Nardi. If the view is we need an upgrade why didnt we try a bit harder in the last few days. Dont clubs have back ups if one opinion doesnt pan out? During there were other keepers with championship experience or prem one twiddling their thumbs? If it was that desperate it should have been priority one after the Charlton game. If Nardi is fancied then ship him out too and bring back Murphy Cooper who has had great loans.
Back to the theme of this thread. Anybody share my worry about this upcoming match. Feels like we might be walking into something here. Hope we are right up for it from the start or could be problems.
Going to be an excellent game this I think. I think it will be end to end.
Two very different teams. Our attackers will have a field day against their defenders, who are generally very slow and lack mobility. They're very suspect in defensive midfield as well. We could create havoc.
On the flip side, the same could be said for them causing us all manor of issues. Moore is a handful and flying. Broadhead and Windass could be set for a return who are both very good at this level.
I personally think this is a game we need Jimmy at centre half. Moore will bully Morrison and Mbengue. Varane needs to be on his game picking up second balls off Moore.
I think attacks will be on top. A thriller. 3-2 either way but I don't know which.
I think we will revert to type and see the sort of game we saw at Derby and Portsmouth last season where very ordinary opposition outran us, outworked us and outmuscled us.
Hope I'm wrong but I don't see Varane thriving in these sort of games at all - I'd have Vale and Field shielding the defence. Like I say, hope I'm wrong and Varane has developed a bit more bite, snarl and aggression to his game and we win the midfield battle. Whatever team controls the midfield will win this game.
I'll go 3-1 Wrexham but might tweak that once team sheet's out.
We had a decent win against a fairly average side. Feet on ground tomorrow. A little worried about this one truth be told. Soft underbelly still I fear. Anyway, give 100% chaps.
