I was born and bred in Hull so hope we don't beat them too convincingly, as long as we beat them I'm happy.

Thing with Hull is they are 6th in the table and 6th in the table based on away games - they are pretty consistent home AND away with just under half their 30pts coming away from home. They had an excellent September so, rather like PNE, their current league position is somewhat skewed by the "bonanza" of points they picked up over first couple of months.
Given we were rubbish against a pedestrian Bristol City in our recent home game, failing to muster a single shot on goal, we clearly need to up our game. Yeah, we dispatched Stoke but at H/T things looked rocky. We capitalised on the red card and got the win. I expect Hull to pose a bigger threat than either Robins or Stoke did so we need to put in a compelling, solid and attack-minded 90mins to get anything today. Any slackness, brain-farts, dumb red cards will almost certainly be punished.
Ultimately, today will give us a true picture of Marti's transformative effect..... Is he the real-deal or is it just a flash-in-the-pan dead cat bounce he's achieved?Comment

I don't get Dozzell, put DB in there and that's our best starting 11 since Marti came in though. Optimistic!Comment

Not mobile enough off the ball, Chair very slow, stop cutting in! Our lidfield bypassed far too easily, Hull look good.
Cannon playing well, good player.

Not sure if he's been told to switch to the left but that's second chance he had in as many minutes, been marked out the game till then.Comment
