Wigan's away form is excellent - they are 3rd (and above us) in the Away Games only table. They MUST be given fullest respect on Saturday or they'll do us.

Our away form is pretty good, where are we in that table?

Brilliant performance and men against boys. We knocked the ball around so well Cardiff pretty much gave up and stood off us. They tbrew the towel in.

O'DowdaO'Dayed for Cardiff tonight and if rumours were correct we were after him in the summer. Glad we didnt sign him as he looked lightweight and didnt influence the game much.

I'd go as far to say as they were inept, the sending off would have had an impact, but they were bereft of ideas, and I wouldn't have been impressed if I I were supporting them (not taking anything away from our display obviously).

I could see the pen having been squeezed out by 2 defenders but to get a red card too was OTT. To bet both i would have expected some sort of leg breaking tackle which it didnt appear from the basic angle on TV.

What about the blatant hand ball we had a couple of games ago!! These things even out over a season, not great for them, but they were never going to beat us one way or the other, let's be honest

I saw that Simpson got his red card recinded by the Welsh FA on Friday and was therefore available for the Swansea v Cardiff derby today! Unfortunately Cardiff got another player sent off in the 7th minute and lost 2-0

I wonder why it is not our FA who decide this, as it was given by a FA official.

I dont know its bonkers to me. Welsh teams playing in the English leagues should face discipline from the English FA. Wasnt there something more recently....or was it the Cardiff play off final where the Welsh FA allowed a player to play? Stinks in my opinion.

But i agree......ive seen those pens given but a red card too? Nah...no idea what the ref was on.?
