Dare I say it looked like cousins might have had a bit of time and coaching invested in him. Proof of the pudding is the championship but if he takes the work ethic with him it adds something to our attacking game

Cousins is not a championship level player. His distribution and game awareness at this level is woeful.

Very similar to Washington in my opinion. His tenacity and pace will get him the odd goal at this level but they are much more home at league 1 level.

If people think cousins is the answer after a ol performance against a league 1 team then I think your in for a shock if he starts games in the championship.

Worth keeping him and Connor in the squad this season imo and if we stay up then offload and if the worst happened then both players who can do a job in league 1.

Gutted I missed the game last night. Sounds like we played well. Just a thought, what do people think about using Washington as midfielder/winger instead of a striker? I think he's got a good touch and have noticed that in games, but clearly doesn't cut it as a striker.
