I think that’s the difference Warnock knew efl like no other what’s needed for the league no passengers all fought for each other leaders in every area of the pitch paddy Kenny, Clint hill, derry helgason Mackie sprinkled with Adel Ali faurlin etc the nucleus of that squad week in week out got the job done last couple of games we’ve been playing with 7 or 8 grafting along with a manager manager just no proactive enough imo

im far from saying ja ain’t got it but he needs to get them going we conceded goals near ht before or after far too often

Come on now.....we can't keep chopping and changing managers and "hoping" for a different outcome. There isnt a Warnock out there and we all know our squad is littered with players learning their trade on the pitch and in many cases stepping up a division.

Okay, we might need a few older heads in the squad, but the money just isn't there to invest in seasoned pros with no sell on value. Perhaps we can pick up a few loans.

The majority knew at the outset that a mid-table finish with the occasional flirting with the play offs would be how the season would pan out. And that would be regarded as a good season. Our two main centre forwards were playing in L1 last season.

I know it's hard for those who watched our three recent defeats live, but a few wins will arrive in good time.

1500 of us witnessed this shite on Monday. 15000 saw it today plus God knows how many on TV.... it is manifestly not good enough and people WILL express this view. Forcibly so too.

Not daft today was pathetic, as was WBA, Portsmouth, Coventry, Ipswich, Norwich away etc. This team lacks consistency and can be very good, but the last week are rightly being called out, today was as bad as it gets.

You said they were nothing special, yet I told you they were the best side I've seen us play at LR and I told you they're certain for promotion with premier league quality, we were outplayed by exciting young talent yet you still want to include them on your list. I told you this when they were 9th and with no suprise at all they sit 2nd. You need to take off the bias glasses and appreciate quality from the opposition too! Last night’s performance was very disconcerting in many respects. But we need to keep the faith and hope that those who can, will make the changes/addition’s necessary. Also it’s important not to turn on players who are being asked to do things that they are not accustomed to. I’m thinking particularly of Smyth and Saito. IF we are lucky enough to get hold of Edwards we should not assume that everything will come right. It won’t!
Absolutely we cannot fix everything in one go but as a start…..
1) Sort out the no leader on the field issue. SO IMPORTANT!
2) Have a plan A and a plan B tailored for each opposition.
3) Have a settled side and stick with it as much as possible.
4) And give Kolli a fair run.

Its so frustrating watching this team - we can look like a promotion chasing team one minute to being a team that could easily be relegated the next. Consistency is the key

we win in batches and we lose in batches - not many draws.

the same with players Burrell seems to have stopped scoring after hitting a purple streak, Koki is in a terrible run of form, there are very few consistent performers maybe only Madsen .

I think the manager still doesn't know his best team especially out wide , in goal , and at Centre half.

it would appear the only definites are Dunne , Madsen, Kone and Burrell and maybe RND and Mbengue but everyone else seems to be interchangeable.


Substitutions often come too late and seem a bit odd - yesterday taking off Hayden for Morgan being a prime example.

That said we should not be thinking about Changing managers - absolutely not.

Over all we are having the best season we have had for a while we just lack consistency.

If we can get a Keeper and maybe Ronnie Edwards in Jan we should be able to push on and finish the season strongly.

this is the most open championship for years and we are only halfway through.

We are operating as needs be in the B&M of the footballing world so we get what we can pay for. No point changing the manager in this current state. just wish the coaches could do better with what they've got.

A week or so before playing us they lost 3-0 at Charlton, last few weeks away lost at Oxford and failed to win at Blackburn. They are not world beaters as this division has shown, to capitulate to Ipswich was a poor show.

Whoever goes up this year has a very slim chance of surviving in the Premiership and that includes Ipswich.

I'm not talking about surviving in the premiership that's a tough ask for any championship side these days because of the big divide. What I'm saying is that Ipswich were far superior to us and days like that you just have to accept it and move on. I appreciate good football and they certainly play quality exciting football so take off the rose tinted glasses that's all I'm saying
