You are wrong of course. No such thing as joint anything, even at this stage of the season. If points are the same, league position is decided on GD. If GD is the same, league position is decided on goals scored..... qpr are third because of an inferior gd to Burnley and scored less goals than Leicester.....Fact!

Imagine im from outer mongolia and just arrived here and asked you 'Whos got the most points in the championship?' Could you answer me that please. What would you say. I only want the answer to that question, no other details , just the answer to that question. Await your reply.Comment

He's right though ...gd doesn't mean anything till all the games have been playedComplete rubbish!........the table doesn't lie, that's why we've got a number 3 against our name and not =1 !!!!!!
Would you say we are joint top, if WE were in first place on goal difference? No. you'd claim top spot outright! Burnley are top outright, not joint, and Leicester second on goals scored....QPR third!......and that is an irrefutable FACT!Comment

Goals difference will play a part....and can be crucial, come the end of the season! Hope that by the then we either have some points advantage or have smashed six or seven against someone!Comment
-
Gd wont come into . We wont need it whatsoever, has gd ever come into the deciding of the two promoted clubs?Comment

Big difference between whose got the most points and position in the table..... Level on points with leaders Burnley...GD takes care of league position!Imagine im from outer mongolia and just arrived here and asked you 'Whos got the most points in the championship?' Could you answer me that please. What would you say. I only want the answer to that question, no other details , just the answer to that question. Await your reply.
Anyway, this is from the BBC report....seems they share my view on this subject.....as does the Football League Website Match Report.
"Charlie Austin's spectacular goal gave QPR victory over Charlton in the London derby at Loftus Road.
Striker Austin struck five minutes before half-time, finding the corner of the net with a 30-yard shot for his eighth goal of the season.
QPR were denied a second when substitute Shaun Wright-Phillips hit the woodwork in the final seconds.
The Hoops remain third despite the win but are level on points with leaders Burnley and second-placed Leicester
Not one mention of this joint top nonsense.....I rest my case!
