There were so many last year talking about how much fun it was going to be back in the Championship, but this is the reality. We need to go up this year, next at the absolute worst, and this is the best way to go about it. We did much the same last promotion year, but with the addition of a player who could occasionally do something spectacularly entertaining.

The goal is the Prem, and we need to be hard to beat. It's working so far, so there is no need for Redknapp to go gung-ho. As Bond said, we could do with being more clinical, but we're quite happy with the results so far.

No such thing as joint top....that's why there is GD and then goals scored......QPR are third in the league! If QPR were in top position on GD not sure you'd still call it joint top!!!

Considering we've shipped 24 players out since May this year (sold, released or loaned), including the Best player in the Championship last time we competed at this level (official) and brought in 11 new players, I think it's an extraordinary effort for us to be level on points at the top of the table, having lost just once so far.

Admittedly, it's not always pretty, it's sometimes pretty nerve wracking. I don't enjoy watching us go from a corner to Green in 3 passes and 10 seconds, and yes I'd love to see more goals. But it's been quite a turnaround in 7 months (3 of which we didn't play cometatively in)

I don't think so Wolfy I think its the same at all the clubs that do well fans turn up and expect the result hence why Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea etc have no atmosphere. When you are fighting for your life, like our first season back in prem that's when the fans play there part its a shame its not like that all the time

Complete rubbish!........the table doesn't lie, that's why we've got a number 3 against our name and not =1 !!!!!!
Would you say we are joint top, if WE were in first place on goal difference? No. you'd claim top spot outright! Burnley are top outright, not joint, and Leicester second on goals scored....QPR third!......and that is an irrefutable FACT!

Agree with that apart from when you suggest Adel did it "occasionally". He scored - what was it? - 19 goals and, whilst I've seen different figures quoted, 20-odd assists. So that means he either scored or made a goal almost every game. In Austin we have a more clinical striker than Helguson but so far none of Hoilett, Philips, Krancjar or the Spurs lad look like they are going to have anything like the impact Adel had (that's not to slate them, but Adel looked unplayable that season in this league). Hence we are not scoring anything like as many goals. If we keep it really tight at the back that's fine, but one defensive error in a game and it will be very hard for us to win. I'm happy with how its gone so far but if we can't get a settled, injury free 11 this side of Christmas with the likes of Hoilet and Krancjar starting to make the most of their undoubted ability, a lot of fans are bound to grow jumpy.
