Could explain why Fernandes was on a flight somewhere, hopefully to bring this lad over for talks.

Not getting hopes up, could easily be in London talking to other clubs. Even Yun decided to pop into Fulham for some cucumber sandwiches.

Earlier on this afternoon we reported on claims in France that Queens Park Rangers had put in a bid of €10m plus Samba Diakité to sign the defensive midfielder.

            10m and Samba ???

                Just google him

on the wikipedia it say he can play as either a defensive midfielder or defender... no doubt he will be playin as a defender

Personally I'd play him in midfield. M'bia should move centre half, not good enough on the ball to play midfield imo
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I have a feeling HR will use Mbia as 1st back up CB, assuming he gets another CB in to play with Hill, or with Hill if nobody else signs.

Said before, Mbia played there brilliantly for Marseille, which Harry would be aware of from his scouting missions watching Remy when Spurs boss.

Can probably fill in at CB but 90% of his games and where he is at his best is in CM, he can play as well as defend.

know nothing about the player so will keep an open mind. my only concern is if he is a defensive midfielder/ centre half - much like Mbia - is he going to have the quality on the ball to prompt attacks and help us string more than three passes together - because that is what we will be crying out for against the like of Norwich, when we need to turn some of these draws into wins. I don't know if he can or can't do that, I merely ask the q.
