If he started passing to other players we may just find we have other match winners in the squad.

Fulham certainly know what Taarabt is capable of doing.
Granted, he isn't consistant enough, but getting rid of our one and only player with true natural ability, would be crazy, just crazy.
So In 16 months you can state one game where he had a blinder (he did and is the only one), but **** me, Stuart Wardley looked good in one game as well. He is the master of his own destruction by holding onto the ball to long and not doing the simple things, bit I guess it allows Ric-Roc and his crew to fiddle with themselves every time he does a step over,

Until Tarbs can learn to pass a ball quicker he needs dropping. Too many times he can lay a ball off yet he wants more touches, shimmys and drag backs before he passes and by that time the move has slowed down to the point of being over. Stoke, Norwich, WBA and teams of that ilk have no 'Tarbs' type players and they win matches so our team with no Tarbs can also win matches. Maybe why HR wants Joe.

If Adel Taarabt was really as bad as some try to make out on here, he would be barracked mercilessly. The boo-boys would let him know in no uncertain terms that he wasn't wanted.
Because that doesn't, has never, happened...speaks volumes as far as I'm concerned.
He's one of our best players, with the ability to win a match on his own. That'll do for me.

That's the entire problem, Adel is not a bad player, he is just not as good as he and people on here think he is. Adel is an average PL player who would be better if he made better decisions when he has the ball and got his head up and passed.

Adel is very inconsistent but within our current squad who is? Nelsen probably but that's it. At least when Taarabt gets the ball the crowd get excited as we all know he has it within him to create something special. He is young and misguided by his agent, but handled the right way he can be the player we all want him to be.

Warnock knew how to play and handle him.

IMHO at present he is the only creative player we have in the starting line up therefore he is always looking to make the pass or shoot himself. He has desire which I'm afraid a lot of our lot don't have at present.

He plays best when wide on the left, look at his assists , goals etc over the three or four seasons he's been with us and you will see. In a midfield four of Taarabt, Faurlin, Diakite,A N Other he thrives as its Faurlin who makes the passes and creates so much. When Faurlin does not play Adel becomes the creator and loses the best part of his game which is running at defenders at the edge of the box and coming in behind the front two. Playing up front alongside or just off Cisse is counter productive as is playing him down the middle.
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

They have done in the past, that's why he's stormed off some times if you remember also I don't know where you sit but I'm in the loft and there's lots of groaning and shouting at him when he gives it away or tries to do too much and doesn't release the ball,

Well, who doesn't groan and moan about a player, any player, including Adel, who loses possession?
I even remember the crowd giving a collective groan when Stan Bowles would lose the ball sometimes.
I sit in the Ellerslie Rd stand, and I bet we have more whingers than you.

This I kind of agree with but goes against your "his level is fizzy pop league". Overall he is an average premier league player but on his day a very good one. He is the only one that creates anything for us though. Maybe traore and mackie in patches.

Tell me when he has been on his day in the last 16 months and on the basis we have been in the bottom three for most of those 16 months, he don't seem to be creating much (6/7 assists ?). On another thread, someone worked out we would have had 4pts more if people had scored chances he created but we could/should have 7pts more if he was not such a flash git and done the simple things.

Seems like even you're saying we rely on him then, yes?
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
