I disagree. Cisse can also hold it up if he has to, good players are not one-dimensional. Sure, he won't be as good as Bobby, but as he is a lot more mobile, there will be much better link up play with our midfielders.

Well you need to have a discussion with alot of others on this board that will tell you he plays off the shoulder which is why he gets caught offside all the time, and we are playing the wrong style for him.
I think he won't hold it up at all and look to run in behind which is why Hughes uses BZ alone up front

I'm not sticking up for Hughes and if he's sacked tonight, so be it but with Park out I think SWP was always going to play that wide right role!

Apart from the fact that Hughes seems to like him, why would SWP always play in that wide role?

QPR could have played Faurlin alongside Diakite and Granero in the middle to win control of possession. or he could have selected Cisse in a 4-4-2 system and play a more direct game that would have put pressure on Arsenal's shaky defence.

Hughes thinks Hoilett is a better striker than Cisse. I think most of us would disagree. He also thinks SWP is a better winger than Hoilett. Again, most of us would disagree. Hughes thinks Faurlin shouldn't get a runout. Most of us would disagree again.

If he wanted to play 4-4-2 he should've gone with Cisse and BZ up front and Hoilett instead of SWP wide right. But we have to assume Hughes knows what he's doing.....

No one is saying he is as good as Bobby at holding it up. But for you to suggest he cant hold it up at all and bring others into play is ridiculous.

Who said we MUST have someone holding it up? If we have Tarbs playing further forward, Hoilett attacking on the right and midfielders making runs forward, we don't need someone to hold it up all the time, we can pass it around, we have the quality to.
