    Hughes offers striker lifeline

QPR boss Mark Hughes has indicated striker DJ Campbell, who is on loan at Ipswich, could have a future at Loftus Road.

The forward had seemingly fallen out of favour with Hughes and sealed a three-month loan switch to Ipswich Town last week.
Campbell grabbed a goal on his Ipswich debut in the defeat against Cardiff and hasn't ruled out joining Paul Jewell's Tractor Boys on a permanent basis.
However, Hughes has indicated the forward's QPR career may not be over and, with Andy Johnson set to miss the majority, if not the entirety, of the remainder of the season, Campbell could yet return to Loftus Road when his loan spell comes to an end in the new year.
"We're looking at all our options," Hughes told the Chronicle.
"Obviously DJ's not played for us but circumstances change very quickly in football and fortunes of players and clubs change very quickly.
"DJ needs to go and get some games, but you never say never in this game."

Fulham is a typically diverse London area with something for everyone - from the hustle and bustle of North End Road Market, to the refined chicness of the iconic Fulham Road. It boasts superb pubs and restaurants, two Premier League football clubs and excellent transport links.

    Few months to late Sparky!!

Still glad he's not to stubborn for his own good & hopefully rightly recalls him in January. Come on DJ strengthen your position & score a few at the tractor boys.

tbf Beard had already said we wouldn't be spending like we have done in the upcoming windows.

That reminded me of Mancini, no we won't be getting in a lot of players. Just 4 or 5

            And rightly so!!

The whole world & their cat knew we needed a decent striker & cb last window & he failed to deliver after being backed considerably. Anyway would like to see DJ given a chance.

Yeah he did and it can't go on forever I know.Probably find (i hope) that it will be something like this that gets us out of the sh*t, like Cook he's an R, so would like to see him succeed just don't know whether he's good enough, but like I say it'd be just like us to discover we had the answer in the squad all along.

It'll be good if DJ comes back.

Though Hughes will probably play him at LB!
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Was that Andy Johnson the player with a horrific injury record who is now out for the season leaving us with just 2 strikers until Jan? And Mbia who was playing in midfield saturday? Ohhhhhh right haha.

Cisse's attitude & work rate is questionable imo & he needed benching. If he's honest hungry & up for the fight he'll come back fighting, if not sparky was obviously right.

Should of been included in the squad and should of been chosen over AJ
