No offence Matty but I'm really busy so haven't read all 3 pages of the thread.
All I will say is Scott Jones = #attentionseeking##### with absolutely no itk credibility whatsoever.
I will come back and read the comments when I'm less busy but wouldn't believe a word he says

Dont get me wrong Im not saying at all that its true. As my OP, i questioned if anybody knows what his track record is like - I was just passing on what he reckons. Reading through some of his other tweets he does seem abit of a drama queen tbh so taking what he says with a huge pinch of salt.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I am not a fan of Scott Jones either, but some posters only come on here (rarely) to #### someone off? Like haqpr1963 for instance, while I know you could do better and contribute something positive

I was eating my breakfast when I read the pre-edited version of Mattys post; although I am sure that Matty wasn't trying to offend anyone with his comment, I was thankful for the edit as my stomach was being seriously offended; I'm sure if it wasn't early morning & I wasn't eating breakfast, it would of had very little impact on my digestive system.

I actually feel a bit sorry for Scott. I get the impression that at heart he's a reasonable guy, but think it's safe to say he's got some 'issues'. Very, very deluded e.g. thinking that he is a celebrity. Can also be extremely aggressive and insulting.

Also if you honestly think the mittals have been funding more than their proportionate share of the company then i would imagine that is very incorrect. When they only have a 33% stake why would they cover running costs and investment to a greater degree.... doesnt make sense.

The point i was making is the Mittals have hardly been chucking masses of money at QPR.
Am only going on what Amit said ie that the mittels were paying half; you may have more insider-ish info.

Think it depends what you call "masses of money". No, they haven't done a Man City but wouldn't have thought there wd be any change on £50m a year running costs for our club now (obviously much of that off-set by revenue), but in addition the 15m or so in transfers and god alone how much extra on the training ground. The days when a Jim Gregory cd come along and buy and fund a club into the top flight are gone. You need someone with seriously deep pockets, not just for the outlay but to be able to effectively write the money off should the football bubble burst or QPR get relegated.

                        Another cry for attention?

Oh Scott on Twitter. He called TF a **** recently on Twitter over racing Caterham in Bahrain, next week he is tweeting him like an old buddy.

But hey he's got 4,400 followers so he *must* be influential. However, he managed to add over 3,000 followers almost overnight: if you look at the profiles of many of those following him they tend to have one thing in common - they follow thousands of people, no one follows them and they have never sent more than a tweet or two.

Yes, that's right they are spambot (i.e fake computer generated) followers you can purchase for money to look like you are really interesting and popular (sort of like a p*enis extension). Sad.

i wouldn't worry about this for the following reasons.

IF the mittals have been funding 50% of transfers there is no way they'd pull out less than 2 weeks after the transfer window shuts. It wouldn't make any financial sense to do so.

If however the mittals have not been investing any money in transfers it means everything we have done so far has been financed by fernandes and co.

Either way there is plenty of money in and around qpr. The mittals will only leave if they haven't been bankrolling the signings and if Thats the case whoever has will still be here!

I don't know what to think of this but my impression of amit is that he always has been quite passionate about the club so i cannot see him having anything to with the mittals pulling out, however mr mittal himself may have other plans. As gravesend says above though if the mittals have had anything to do with funding our transfers then this is definately a load of old ******** as pulling out now would be terrible business.

Just been reading some of Mr. Jones' posts on LFW. If he is a QPR fan he has a funny way of showing it. He's saying that we will be in admin in 12 to 18 months if we carry on like this................no sh*t sherlock of course we will if we carry on spending like this which has already been said we won't. Then a couple of sentences later he says the business plan is unsustainable in his eyes, so I wonder if this is just in his head he's gone from supposedly quoting god knows who to offering his own opinion. 6 players on £100,000 pw and 3 of those don't play for us anymore apparently, right then Scott name them.
I think a fan who goes on twitter or public forums claiming things are so bad that admin is on the horizon for a business should be prosecuted for causing malicious damage to a business or something like that, although from what I understand we have no outside creditors so the Mittals would put us into admin themselves if they wanted their money back, so would be counter productive to them surely?
