So you know he has 'problems'.

We all know that, the offish told us.

Did the ex-player give you more details than 'problems'?

A few weeks ago a reliable poster said that one of their mates had asked a member of QPR staff what was wrong with Diakite, and his response was to point to his head and say "he's lost it". This was circulated over a few QPR message boards, and immediately taken down, due to the risk of said member of staff getting in trouble. I think that's why a lot of people are being hush hush here. I'm guessing all the rumours from yesterday are just a re circulation of this information?
Whatever's wrong with Samba was affecting him during the Malaysia tour, although not necessarily last season, as i understood he wasn't played near the end due to a "10 game clause" in our payment agreements with Nancy?
I can't imagine it would be schizophrenia or there's no way he'd have played the Swansea game. There's a whole whost of mental illnesses he might be suffering from, we'll probably never know.

I've had enough of this nonsense .l will repeat for the last time. i have no idea what's wrong with him. i was told by ex player, whom i don't want to name that there was a problem . i was told this a few weeks ago before it was mentioned on here or the official web site. that is all i know . i did not post it at the time because it wasn't my place to do so. since it is now common knowledge that there is a problem i posted it in this thread. i have no idea if there is any truth that he won't play for us again . End of.

For insurance purposes, Diakite is obliged to tell the club of any medical problems he has. So if he has been clinically diagnosed with something then they would have known.

It seems to me it's more like he is just having trouble coping with his own private business, I think we just need to respect that and stop talking about it. There is nothing to be gained from it, the thread has run it's course. Can I please request we just close it?

Can't quite believe this thread. Guys guessing at what Samba's problem is. No-one really has any idea so why all the bull s***? The guy has problems of a personal nature that could be anything. IMHO if it was a serious medical condition he would have stayed put in London where he would receive the best care available. More likely to be a family issue if he's returned to his family home.

As for the reliability of 'news' heard on the concourse before a game, from my recollection 99% of our way fans are so drunk by kick-off they are either fighting each other or spouting ********. Just an observation
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

More a light-hearted poke at the ITK'ers on here.

Because if two week old news, that an ex-player was pointing at his head and saying a player has lost it, is now meant to make us believe that he's out for the season, then this is a pointless conversation.

Simply asked a question which a message board can debate?

If you are in the 'no' camp then fair enough.

Time will tell if he plays for us again and replicates last season's form.

This is very upsetting news and I think he probably does have a mental illness as many people have confirmed the same sort of thing. I don't care if he doesn't play for us any time soon, all I hope for is that he gets better and recovers. It may take months or maybe even years but as long as he recovers that's all that matters really. Get well soon Samba.
