Diakite- will he play for us again?

From what I heard today it is looking doubtful that this guy might ever play for us again. I could be wrong, but the guy has some serious issues to sort out mentally. Can't believe this was not picked up by our medical staff when we signed him in the summer. He is on a long term contract on very good money. Will we be able to get any money back from him via medical insurance?

Certainly explains his absence for part of pre season and his poor performances again Swansea and Norwich.

Sad story as I had high hopes for the kid.

Will be interesting to see if Hughes puts him in the 25 man squad?

Can't waste a space for someone who is going to be unavailable for many games until January before he might go to The Africa Cup of Nations.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

They do medicals to check physical issues to the player. I doubt they cover mental aspects in any form....

From what I heard I doubt we will ever see him play for QPR again and lets just hope that we can claw some of the fee back and find a clause in his contract

Well on the strengths of the words of 'some bloke at the game' (repeated by some bloke on the internet)one of our players has some form of mental affliction that will last all season, and two players are to be sacked, because they went home early.

What a terrible day it's been.

                      WTF?

What kind of mental issues? And why are they so serious that he may never play for us again?

I heard this a few weeks ago from a former player and hoped he was over stating the problem . obviously not.

So this isn't new information, just the stuff that was floating around weeks ago? That he is suffering with depression after a death in the family?

That we've discussed already on this messageboard?
