MOM delusional? You for real? He was by far our best player last night . I was shocked how well he played. Defo don't think he should ay vs city but I feel to come back and play 90mins the way he did last night regardless of opposition is a true mark of the mans guts and I feel won't be long before he is embarrassing many big names all season as they try and climb out of his deep pockets. He was knackered by 75 minutes. Would have been kept on to help him get match fitness. He's not ready. He needs to be at his best & feeling as fit as a fiddle when he steps onto the pitch for a PL game

He kept the ball under pressure, didn't pull out of any tackles. Struggling to recall many misplaced passes, full of running. Granted he looked tired late on but who can blame him? Never expected a performance like that from a man who has been out for so long.
