yeah, pathetic isnt it.... thing is, if we win next week, those doomers on here will change their tune pdq. Moods up and down quicker than a #####'s drawers!!
facto pretty well spot on imo, not saying Hughes will get the boot but all close season fans have been screaming out for a CB and saying our defence is leaking like a sieve
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most
Must say, I hold Hughes responsible for the defeat yesterday. Poor tactics, and that's more worrying than a poor performance.
That being said, he didn't become a bad manager overnight. We need to give him time. It's a bad day at the office, but we have to stick together now more than ever.
I tell you if we had a proper holding midfielder and Bobby Z playing yesterday we'd have won by a big score yesterday.
Well said that man.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
Thing is, the writing was on the wall pre-season. A few people on here consistently questioned the business we did over the summer, so it isn't a question of hindsight. GK and CB are key, key positions and not to have addressed them by 3.00 yesterday does seem a tad inefficient. Hughes should be judged in exactly the same way Warnock was over the next couple of months. But for contractual reasons that wont happen...
So some think that Hughes having spent god knows how much,... installed Mike Rigg along with his coaching staff and various scouts should be gone by Christmas? Then what? Oh let's get Harry Redknapp in, and I hope Tony does the decent thing and backs Harry properly in the window, otherwise what's the point in hiring him, and tying his hands behind his back?
This is unsustainable we'll have a squad of about 50 players on prem wages that we can't get rid of and back to square one with a new squad and a manager trying to get over his ideas
Many years ago Alex Ferguson was a cup final away from getting the sack. Had he lost that he'd have been gone. He didn't and Man Utd proceeded to become the most successful club in the English game. For his endeavours he was knighted.
MH is rebuilding the club from top to bottom and all that takes time. Although at times, like many, I've questioned his tactics, but he's the football man not any of us. I'm sure he'll get it right soon. We just need to be a little patient. I think we're just a few players short of having a superb squad. Maybe MH has tried to get certain players in but they wouldn't come. Remember the saga over Alex last season?
Time for cool heads guys.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
