Why because we have one striker who is a out and goal scorer who we can guarantee will score goals aj and Zamora are not reliable enough to get the goals we need. Defoe is like cisse you know he will score. Like I said in my other post look how we reacted when cisse picked up a knock on your it was worrying.

So that means we will have 5 strikers expecting first team football. Defoe and Cisse won't play together, and I think Cisse is better. We dont need him.

I think they could, Cisse drifts out wide sometimes while Defoe is a " in the box" type of striker, BZ and AJ play together and I suspect either HH or JB will be leaving along with DJ and Hulse, Hoilett, AT, JM can all play up front if required.

So if cisse is injured who would you rather his replacement be Aj , zamora or Defoe . It doesn't matter if they expect first team football. That's like saying why did we get hoilett when others want first team football. It's all about quality adding players that is a improvement to what we have and Defoe is a improvement of was to be signing bentner then no I would prefer aj to fill his role. We need 4 strikers who are good enough to score goals. Like I said Zamora is not a goalscorer and aj is not exactly a prolific goal scorer nor is Betty dj and helguson will probably be injured .
