I guess if injuries/suspensions occur to Bobby, Djibril & AJ & Hulse - we need backup. But I would probably play Defoe ahead of all of them.

Defoe turns 30 in a few months time so why spend 9million on him & not 9million on a 25 year old who will be around for years
