Correct, so they're obviously not the same thing. If British and English are the same thing, then British and Scottish and British and Welsh are the same things. It then follows that British and English and Scottish and Welsh are the same things, which they're not of course.

England is in a union with the other home nations. Britain is in a union with the European Union. Are you European too?

No England is one of three countries which make up Great Britain. The full title is Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Not sure why but they have not referred to the team as Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The United Kingdom is England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

What are you talking about? At the last Olympics we came 4th out of 200 nations taking part. In case your maths isn't up to snuff, that puts us in the top 2% in the world.

It's day 2 of the London games. If I were you I would wait until the end before making a fool of yourself like that again.

UM i would learn to read a thread bud before coming on and mouthing off to me. If you look at the title it asks why are we rubbish at these olympics this is my reply that i offered. Now my little loony you cannot deny that these measures have been brought in by left wing governments, there are schools in this country that don't even offer pe or sports days anymore.
In case your maths ain't up to snuff loony the last olympics was 4 years ago, so perhaps you might want to have a little think before you come back mouthing off to me and making a fool of yourself foriegner!
