Where is your academy? I'm presumming its feed from schools if so what area does West Ham cover Hammer or do they scout from all over?

    Genuine questions.

What I would say though is that I doubt either TF or Amit Bhatia were ever close to being fans of QPR prior to their involvement, by by god, they are now. They have the bug mate.

What they may lack in Football experience, they more than make up for in Business experience, decency, honesty and a desire to do the right things in the right way, in order to make us successful. And I for one believe that they are going to deliver in a most spectacular way over the years ahead. And the majority of R's fans can see already that they are well on the way. Even just by looking at the calibre of behind the scenes personnel they have brought in to achieve these goals.

I have no animosity towards West Ham at all, but I doubt that in 5 years you will be anywhere near the level we are at.

Lets not forget that our local rivals are both established premier league clubs and therefore West Ham will never be seen as great rivals or disliked that much. I'd stick to baiting Orient fans if I were you.
i can understand your exicetment as you have some very good players and are improving. But stick to baiting Orient ?? why ??? they are 2 leagues below us..C`mon keep it real,i thought the standard of this thread had gone up a few notches !!!

our academy is at chadwell heath. As far as i`m aware thesedays there is a certain mile radius from the training HQ(ACADEMY) that a youngster has to live Within,if he does not live within that radius as far as i`m aware he cant sign or train for the club in question .This would be under a certain age group.Thereafter clubs can scour the globe looking for talent once the age criteria meets the required age limit from the ruling bodies.

I think QPR would do well to learn from West Ham's academy as you do turn out some decent players theirs no doubt.

Is there any reason this 9 page WEST HAM thread, of which the main contributor is a West ham fan, hasn't been moved out of the QPR section of this QPR message board?

Come on Admin, move it somewhere else as i'm sure the majority on here, like me, have no interest whatsoever.

i think he was associated with QPR in his very early days(aged 10) probably a few training sessions etc from my recollection but cant be 100%.QPR certainly cant be credited with his development in anyway tho and neither can chelsea.millwall &charlton where he trained briefly as well.He came to west ham in 1992 aged 13.It was frank lampard senior who bought him there. He started of for us playing as a midfielder in his very early days at west ham.

Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

We rejected him in the end from what i read, must of picked him up due to Sir Les but for what ever reason those at the club deemed him not good enough and loe and behold You guys picked him up! pretty sure he was very young at the time though
