Pete, Morrison scored 10 for a crap team and 14 for palace the season before. Scored 2 outstanding goals today too.

Campbell was playing Prem football last season so that's an unfair example.

Do me a favour and stop with trying to find justification in our lack of a striker. Our top scorer has gone and we have replaced him with a winger (yes...a winger) and an Italian who spent most of his career in the Seri B and C.
      Your mum would love me...

        Scoring record was pretty good.

Reserve level Yes, but Kamara plays in the reserves for Fulham and some want us to spend 4 million on him and Lita could not even get in the first team for Reading, same with Ched Evans.
Sorry, had to re-register as i couldn't let this one go.

If Taarabt is a striker, why is he listed in the Offish Squad Details as a midfielder?

        Just asking like :scorn:

dont think 3 strikers will score 18. happy with a striker that will get 14 goals.

Pete - this is why people think you are a puppet. You are either saying the stuff you are because that's what someone has said to you from within the club (how else would you know we have made inquiries and won't gamble at £3m) or you don't have a clue about strikers especially if you think a winger is the answer.

Doyle scored 18 goals for Reading last season, does not mean a thing.

Sirpie, hopefully can supply stats on top scorers and see if they got the teams promoted.

Tarrabt will score 15 this season if he plays he majority of the season. Cannot help injuries, no-one can.

                      An absolutely shocking comment.

18 goals does not mean a thing?

Without those goals they would have struggled.

if taarabt is reguarly played up front he will struggle. not the right player to play up front.

As I said look at his goalscoring record in the Spurs reserves and played there all the time, by Clive Allen.

If it were not for a fluky mi**** we would have lost that game, we made 2 or 3good chances and had lots of shots from distance or half chances. We never really looked like scoring and IMHO we looked no better or worse than under Sousa last season where we would get a 3 or 4 good chances and fluff them. As we stand at the moment we don't look capable of more than 1 goal a game.

I'd happily pay £3m for Beckford, two quality goals again at the weekend pace and presence.

reserve football or championship football. no comparison

ainsworth played right back for the reserves last season. that doesn't make him a right back

form an opinion of what you see not what you hear.

taarabt a winger yes a striker no.

should we play routledge up front as well?

they are very similar players apart from height

We had at least 7 good chances on Saturday.

Sam-qpr, sorry but playing for Spurs reserves is a good standard of football. Kamara plays for Fulham reserves and Sturridge for Chelsea and I'm guessing we would still have those two players?
Depends who the player is and with tarrabt being 19, he will improve.
