No, but we can say that Birmingham and Burnley are this week in the premiership playing top flight football, with not one of there strikers getting pass 15 last season

          point is

          we are QPR
we are apparently a 5 star brand
we have made it be known we are heading for the champions league
we have much more expensive pricing that those other clubs
we can if we choose outbid any of the other teams in the championship to get the right striker.
Flavio said if we invested they would invest, apparently we have brilliant season ticket sales and yet they have sold first team assets including our best striker but have not yet replaced him.

          unsuprisingly people are confused
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

one club had a top scorer and went up easily. shows you the benifit it has

as for going overboard. in our pre season frendlies we had the majority of possesion. only 10 goals out of the lot of them. including a loss to a croation side (or where ever it was) but you put that down to them being frendlies.

the same thing happend against blackpool lots of possesion no goals (apart from the wonder goal but we don't expect ramage to do that again)

            ask yourself why

this is only against blackpool. what will happen against WBA, Newcastle, Boro, Cardiff, Reading, Sheff United, Ipswich and Forest. these are all better equipped than us to mount a challenge.

Would be nice to know your view on it?

Hopefully Sirpie, can give us similar stats for the past 4-5 seasons would be interesting to see.

                  based on your opinion

4 of those clubs have parachute payments, Why would a top top striker who can get 25k a week at those clubs come to us? Because of his love for QPR?

I wouldn't swap my strikers for Ipswich or Forest (apart from Blackstock), Cardiff have Chopra and he is not worth 4 million even if he did score against S****horpe United.

Would just like to add, to avoid edits

Boro have no reconised scoring machine and nor have Newcastle.

WBA are the best equipped with strikers out of all those clubs.

Quaz, do behave. You are now getting silly.

I can say definitely that at least one of our strikers will get 10. Someone will hit a purple patch, even our mate Ageymang scored 8 goals in 6 games.

We have a brilliant midfield,a solid defence-why oh why would any rangers supporter not want our forward-line to be EQUALLY as good?it just doesn't make sense.we have a fantastic squad, apart from the forwards-that is soooo obvious

                            Quaz,

I did say Blackstock, I would have.

You would have Adebola, Earnshaw and Tyson

                            over

                            Vine, Tarrabt and Helguson

                            You live on another planet.

how am i being silly.....and you think 10 is a good return for a striker when you say our midfielder pretending to be a striker will get 15....now who is silly.
If you think we have better striker options than forest then it's you who needs to behave..........

the question is then why are we paying more than them for a season ticket. 3-4 million for a striker then 40 million on promotion. there will always be teams with parachute payments in this league. going by your theory we may as well give up now. theres no point spending any money if the others have parachute payments. we simply can't compete with them.

you have to do one of two things to get to the prem.

                                1. spend 3-4 years building a team. getting them playing well together. like burnley did. but as our owners have shown if we are not there after 15 games the manager is gone. so that theory is out the window

2 spend the money to compete. take the risk. break into the top two.
