      Adel or Barton?

No brainer for me. Bye Joey.
This. Im a fan of Joey and want him to stay. But if, behind the scenes, things are that bad its 1 or the other, give me Adel all day long.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Problem I see is will other players want to join the club knowing what Barton is like. I think we may struggle to sign class signings with him around. However I would like him to stay tho.

if this is true (and that's quite an 'if'), then i think both of them need to move on - barton for causing the dressing room rifts and adel for issuing ultimatums. the pair of them are paid enormous sums of money for doing something that they should love... they're paid to be professionals - there's (allegedly) plenty of players who've managed to grit their teeth and play with people they detested.

MH will bomb Adel out the club instantly if he said anything like this, he's not the person to be told what to do!

Loathe the Standard after Patrick Barclay wrote an article hoping we get relegated. Boycot it for that reason. However, this tends to back up other bits that have leaked out. Barton and Adel was never going to be a match made in heaven, they represent everything the other wd hate. Regardless of Adel its clear the club are keen to bomb out Barton. Think it will all come down to whether we can thrash out a compromise with West Ham or whoever whereby we pay some of the wages (maybe all his wages till Nov) but don't think we will be seeing him next season turn out for us.

Im sick of d*ckhead players thinking they are bigger than the club! They have two options in my eyes:

                    1. Sack both players for being gobby tw@ts

                    or

                    2. Arrange a pre-season straightner between the two too see who wants it the most.

yeah good post mate.I am quite happy that Mark Hughes has the final decision on joey and if he wants him out so be it, but and yes i agree if this has been said by Adel then he should be told in no uncertain terms who is in charge of player recruitment.

How is this rumour any more true than all the transfer crap the media drag up daily?

It seems the media can put a wedge in the support a bit too easily imho. Pretty sad really.

Adel Taarabt says he will refuse to play alongside Joey Barton

Adel Taarabt has heaped pressure on QPR's hierarchy to get rid of Joey Barton, after he said he would not play alongside the midfielder.

I think Hughes needs to decide fast on what to do with him,if it's true and we can sack him without incuring a huge cost well then that is what he should do and fast, but if we are stuck with the cu nt then fine him 3 months wages and don't name him in 25 man squad for 1st half of the season AND get lawyers to give him one last warning, mess up yet again and you are out for good!
