Surely if we are relegated Fernandes and Bhatia have to consider a legal challenge to recoupe any lost revenue. There is a duty on the officials to apply the rules as set out and whilst some of the decision are interpretation others are at best incompetent. The FA has a duty to train and ensure the competency of their officials and may well be liable for their failures as is the case in many businesses.
If the club were to come out and say in the event of relegation they are considering a legal challenge and a claim against the FA for negligence I think they would certainly sit up and take notice. The FA are in dire financial straights and would not want welcome such action and would certainly ensure we had fair officials until the end of the season.
This farce with poor decisions has to end some time and it would at the least hasten the introduction of technology.
