Like everyone else I hope and pray he survives and have been really shocked by his illness.

But this is a QPR forum where we all want our club to do well. This is not meant with any disrespect to Muamba and I apologise if it is felt insensitive as I realise life and death is more important. BUT I just wonder how fans think his illness will impact on Bolton. Will it inspire them? Or really knock them? Either way I can't help thinking this terrible incident cd have a big influence on who stays up and who doesn't. Just shows how wildly unpredictable sport remains.

Frankly I do not think his illnes will have any effect on Bolton's performances beyond the loss of him as a player - as long as he pulls through. I do not know how good he has been, though. We lost Faurlin and it was a severe blow (IMHO). Is this guy of the same calibre?

Think its more about the effect it will have off the field. Like you I haven't ever paid enough interest in Bolton to give you a worthwhile assessment of him as a player. There's a report today - albeit in the Mirror - saying Bolton are considering pulling out of the FA Cup as the younger Bolton players cannot face returning to White Hart Lane. Indication of how much they have been hit by this. Guess much will depend on whether he pulls through - and I hope v much he does - but seeing one of your colleagues nearly drop dead in front of you combined with the global media frenzy is going to have a big, big impact make no mistake.

From what i heard on talk sport this morning there is talk of them pulling out of the cup ,

IMO these players should want to go back out on the turf and try their dammed hardest to win the cup FOR this lad, you could not honour him more,

Some one told me this today...the only reason Bolton would pull out off the cup is due to a fixture pile up and it would be bloody disgrace if they use this tragic event as an excuse.

Not a chance. If they genuinely think Bolton would use the near death of one of their players, to take advantage of a situation like this, then I have a tin-foil hat they may be interested in purchasing.

Then why else would they pull out the cup...if it was a league match would they refuse to replay the game as a sign off respect...not a ****ing chance.

IF they do pull out of the FA Cup then yes they would have taking advantage of the tragic situation. Its only media speculation at present but IF it did happen then thats exactly what I would think.

Just so I'm 100% sure- you think that IF Bolton call off the game, it will be because they don't want a fixture pile up in their relegation battle, and it has nothing to do with the impact it had on players & staff etc?
