Desperately want it to be true, but it appears this was just from some teenager on a wind-up on Twitter.

While things like this brings most of us together in hope, it does also bring out all the mini-brains clamouring for attention.

Is there no way to pre-empt such heart attacks? I mean the clubs have plenty of resources resources, the players can and must have regular checkups?

Unfortunately, the heart's electrical activity can become erratic without warning -- hubby was once told that you can have a perfectly normal ECG, then walk out of the hospital and drop dead from a cardiac arrest.

slightly off topic but a cardiac arrest is total different from a hart attack. Very glad the lad is now stable.

Unfortunately the hospital has just issued an update saying he is critically ill in intensive care -- this is very worrying, sounds like he has deteriorated from earlier.

ECGs unfortunately don't pick up everything.
