IMO, he played a bit better in defence but his shot was poor to say the least.

He played well. Didn't do anything wrong at the back and got forward when an opportunity. There were a few occasions he had acres of space in the final 3rd but the ball never came, usually as Adel tried another pathetic attemp at a shot

Also his distribution is probably the best in the team. He always looks for the pass rather than hoof and when he goes long always hits our man. Shame the rest of the team can't!

For a defender he has very good vision with his passing. Am sure the fans will take to him.

Do enlighten me as to all the accurate passers we have in the team then to make it such a shocking comment for you to comprehend?

His short range passing is still woeful.
But, make no mistake, I dont want him to fail. I just think he is a bit overated.
Hence he should not have been pickedas he was clearly out of his depth during his first matches, but that´s not his fault.

Hopefully, his will soon recover from his injury(Cramp)
