    That´s a nice gesture from him(Taiwo).

Ferdinand has been a bit shaky since the Terry Incident.

I thought Taiwo was good on the ball, but his positional sense is hopeless - time and again on saturday he was marking nothing and the ball was played in behind him and he was too slow on the turn. It didn't help that him and Clint don't seem to have any understanding between them. As for the comment about Ferdinand, I thought he was OK. Funny how different people see different things in a game!

Pretty sure there's a lot of fans that won't take to him no matter what he does.

If we stay up and he has been playing nobody will complain, if we go down he probably won't stay because he is on loan (either he won't want to stay or the club won't want him). Here's hoping it's the former.

I hope we will stay up. And if he wants to stay with the club he has to improve his play vastly. But who knows; he might just do so.
                  My opinion only.

Nobody said he was the best LB in the world as far as i recall, until you suggest it was the case to try and give your point more validity somehow.

I said, which was echoed by others, he is very highly regarded by many as one of the best LB's in the world. Not the best. He was proven in the Champions League and a good international team and AC Milan signed him on the back of that, and they don't buy players that aren't regarded as quality.

Certainly wouldn't state he was the best.

He will come good, and was fine on Saturday, but defence is so important to have a unit understanding and i don't think it helps that we seem to have a different defence every game of late..... Nobody seems to know what they're doing and what to leave for others. The sooner we get Young, Onuoha, Ferdinand, Taiwo playing together for a run of games the better..!!

Not sure if Taiwo will be playing on Saturday. He is due to play for Nigeria in Africa on Wednesday and there is also a question as to whether he has an injury.

                            ..!!
I wouldn't go that far, they have made some poor signings over the years. Alberto Aquilani and Sulley Muntari are two recent shockers/flops.
Although Taiwo does seem to have the attributes to be a good powerful left back.
I hope the lad comes good sooner rarther than later for our sake.
