This is pure speculation of course. Think that Balanta may just miss out on starting, only because i think Magilton and gorman will see it as a risk.
I would call Hall a risk....will not be impressed to him in the starting 11.

Missed the last question on Pellcori..

To be honest, the consensus is that he will need time. Personally think he is well down the pecking order at this stage, but in the long term could be a striker that will surprise many. The players is confident in his own ability, but if this guy was viewed as number one choice for example, he would have been give the Number 9 shirt. I see him as more of an addition to the squad and in all honesty, not the player who will score 20 goals plus. I could be totally wrong, but its not a big buy (offish will probably say 4 million) but you need good back up and he will be just that

Think, we will see tarrabt used up front or on the left wing.

Faurlin will be class and expect him to be a first teamer and in the first 11

(its going to be Legs or Mahon for sure)

All fit, then the game against Southampton will tell us all.

Connolly can play anywhere along the back 4, no-one else can.

What Sousa was doing playing a 6ft 4 Fitz Hall right back, I will never know. But, thats another subject entirely.

Connolly can not play anywhere along the back 4 Pete. He does it when asked but is not a LB. I have never been so sure of anything in my life. We might as well play Taarabt there.

Nobody has played well at LB since Delaney under LDC

If Magilton wants to play passing football, Connolly must be in the team.

No other centre half can pick out balls like Connolly, anyone who has watched Rangers in the last 12 months knows that.

Fitz and Stewart are defenders that defend and get rid, thats all well and good but if you are looking to pass and start attacks from the back no one compares to Connolly.

Gorkss is a good defender and can pass but he will always pick the easy ball to either fullback or Mahon/Rowlands in defensive midfield. Nothing wrong with that.

Honestly, the next game you go to, watch how many balls Connolly threads into channels or picks out players in attacking positions with. You will realise what he brings to the team.

Also im privy to some information that Connolly's pass completion last season was by far the best at the club. Perhaps Sirpiechucker can confirm.

I absolutely agree. He must not be played at LB though.

of course he's wasted at left back would have him in the centre ahead of stewart every time, sooner we get an established left back the better
