In all honesty can you really see us being out the PL in 2 years? Building a strong young squad, development plans to increase to 30,900 in place, more money invested in players in the past 2 years that the last 9 years in the prem put together nearly. you may want us to go down same us our fans may say the same to you but cant you honestly hand on heart see it happening?

Loads of Tourists and Chelsea fans at foolham matches when chelsea playing away is sad really.

You do realise that there are other usernames outside of football teams? You probably could've called yourself just "SouthWest"? Its a bit of a bore to register to this forum and I certainly wouldnt bother doing the same to post on a Fulham MB. Maybe they dont exist?

I don't hate Fulham, remember going to the cottage years back and they still had terraces - 1st time we had played in league in years - and there was some trouble, but you aren't really our rivals...are you?

Im a local, live nearer the bush than i do to Fulham. was having the discussion with my pals a few days ago who are all rangers fans but we had all had a few beers and the arguement got silly and off the topic. i'm genuinely intersted in your views on us. like i said, didnt think there was much reason to hate each other so i wanted to know why we did!

Oh of course, im the same, Football is the main banter between men but sometimes it just gets a bit OTT. id prefer to let the ****ers earning £££££'s a week have the stress of arguing why they were crap than us poor ****ers who fork out there wages!

Yeh but football isn't just about the 90 mins, the arguing with mates and becoming deluded is all part of why we love it. I mean I've been telling all my pals that we now have one of the 3 best defences in the league. Started saying it on the wind up but ended up last night arguing that we have a better back 4 than Spurs and part of me believed it. Football does strange things to the mind.

I used to hate it too but we cant fool ourselves about the size of our fanbase. theres us, you and Chelsea in a tiny borough. All the youngsters grow up and latch on to the bigger teams which leave us trailing behind. id rather us sell out with a few thousand tourists than have the seats empty. they come and spend a good few quid too. keeps the owner happy and thats all that matters really. bit of a kick for us oldskool loyals but football is all about the pound notes now.

Cant see that happening. Al Fayed would never sell to Hughes! i suppose with you having a big investement this Hughes/Fayed thing is one security for us knowing he wont sell our big names to you for any price. (well maybe if its a crazy price)
