You've got to put Warnock's comments into context. He's just had his dream destroyed, of managing a premiership team. And let's face, he ain't going to get another chance. It was obvious he loved this club, and loved every minute of last season. Of course he's bitter, wouldn't you be.And he guess he thought he could still pull the club around.
He's been at the wrong end of a tough business decision, that's all. Fernadez is a businessman first. He he knew to save the lub he had to act, and act quickly and decisively. and that's what he did, and that's presumably what's made him so rich and successful. To my mind it was the right decision. I feel far more confident with Hughes. Warnock was beginning to lose it, and these conspiracy theories back that up.
Obviously, something went on with Barton. Something always goes on with Barton. Warnock should have been tougher, but presumably whatever happened he caved in. Hughes won't do the same. However, if it's any concillation to Warnock I'd be far happier having a pint with him that Barton. I can see Hughes getting rim of Barton. The man's a liability and in today's football business world, liabilities have to go.
Save the club? We arn't Darlington. How quickly some of you have forgotten about the away days at Rushden and Diamonds and bucket collections. You seem to expect success at any cost, including loyalty and decency.
How much silverware have you seen us win?
Warnock and Venables are the only managers i have seen win anything with QPR
I would say legend
Alec Stock.. Dave Sexton.. Terry Venables Legends in my eyes boys..
Warnock is nowhere near them as a football manager or a football person sorry, he done well to win the championship with two quality players Paddy and Adel but he struggles in the top flight end of, no legend at qpr sorry.
I don't see peoples problems with Joey Barton, he's an honest guy and he (a player in the Premier League) could not be better placed to pass on his opinion
Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
Bit rich of Joey talking about cringing when most of the day on twitter he's been involved in a slanging match with someone pretending to be Gary Glitter
