Played only 619min of football for man utd in 4 seasons.Played only in 19 games.Played Champions League. But 4 goals dont sound much, but waiting to get a game when rooney, berbatov, owen, welbeck and in front of you must be hard.still only 20,this lad could be unreal for us.makin runs for JB,AT and co to find,im sure this lad will do well for us.
DANNY WELBECK PLAYED ONLY 22 GAMES FOR MAN U.AND SCORED ONLY 5.WOULD YE BE HAPPY IF WE SIGNED HIM????????????

Sturidge, Frazer Campbell and Wellbeck were young reserve forwards for big clubs who made their careers out on loan to smaller clubs so I wouldn't write this guy off. But agree he needs to be in addition to one really proven GOALSCORER (not another hold up player, someone who actually sticks the ball in the back of the onion bag on a regular basis).

Players that we can realistically afford may not be available, hence looking for loan players from the bigger clubs may be a good idea. At least if we go down, we won't have too many players on big wages. Why would teams like Bolton or Blackburn willingly sell their better players to rivals and lessens their chances of staying in this league?Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Devil's advocate here. Look at it this way, he's been at man utd for a number of years, they see him every day in training, he's been used a number of times but only a game here or there with Rooney, Wellbeck, Berbatov and Hernandez ahead of him, and if they didn't think he was any good, if he there were better back ups, if he didn;t have thr right attitude, or would develop into a potential star he'd have been sold or released by now - Fergie is hardly a man known for sentiment.
At man city and chelsea Struddige scored 1 or 2 goals in three seasons with fleeting sub appearances and the occasional start. Went to Bolton, got a run of games, sharpness and confidence up and returned to Chelsea to become their number one striker, can't stop scoring, and a sure bet for the England teamLast edited by Westbyfleetr; 01-01-2012, 06:00 PM.

Good post, Im just worried he got hyped up too early and it went to his head. But you are right that if he had bad attitude he would already be out the door at Man U. They still have some hope for him. Hopefully we can see some of that.
