Quotes Neil who says he spoke to the chairman last night who is frustrated players haven't already signed - says normally its the other way round with chairman trying to delay spending money but in this case says Fernandez "very excited" by the potential signings...

to be honest we know where not the biggest club in the prem and so does barton, but he could have refused to talk to us so i see this as a good sign also feel he is be forced out of newcastle for some unknown reason.

Agree Nodge. Neil in the Independent saying most bar one of his signings won't be wrapped up till Mon or Tues. Seems risky to me and as you say if we are offering that kind of money we can ask for answers quickly. At least it will show Onouha, Jenas, Bertrand etc we mean business though.
