And I'll say it again that whilst he's not a "bums on seats" manager and he's not a big name with an impressive CV he does have good experience and allegedly plays entertaining 4-4-2 football and those two things alone are more than we've had with our previous recent managers. And it would be wrong to suggest he was a failure at Ipswich, imo. There's a huge difference between success and failure and he was somewhere in the middle with Ipswich.
If it is him then I wont' be dancing in the streets but I'm not going to kill myself either! And all you guys lucky enough to go to games will just have to back him.....
    I agree, well said.

I have a feeling whoever comes in that this one will be a short contract. I can't see another 2 year contract being given out can you?

I text my dad earlier (QPR supporter for over 40 years) as he has asked for news on Rangers while he is away.

My message read "Rumours are that Antonio Tapia of Malaga could be the next manager of QPR".

His reply was "Never heard of him...who the #### is he?!!!!"

            Says it all really.

Dont want to be rude, but just because your Dad hasnt heard of him, doesnt mean squat.

Not exactly true his dad may be a season ticket holder and would feel more comfortable with someone who he knows like Magilton, Pardew, Coppell etc.

Not everyone uses the internet Morris, some more senior fans would just like to see some stability at the club.

The point rangersroar and myself was making is that just because someones dad has never heard of a manager, it doesnt "say it all".

Done a cracking job at Malaga, and would be great for us, IMO.

The level of jingoism and narrow mindedness shown by some of my fellow R's never ceases to amaze me, despite the frequency at which I am reminded of it.
