Hmm strange one this.My mother is half Irish and I have many Irish relatives, which i have never met.I was born in England.

I have been to Scotland Ireland and Wales. I have many Irish Friends Welsh and Scottish friends.I also have many English friends.But...I was born in England and therefore I am English.If in a tournament and all 4 home nations are playing....I want us to win(Obviously).Now - if we were not in the tournament but say...Scotland were,I would watch them with interest - but not really that fussed either how they get on.

Living in Folkestone - i am closer to France than I am to scotland and in fact have more ties with the French then other home nations.

Why we have to enter the Olympics as Team GB is beyond me.We should enter as four individual countries.Oh and current Motor racing champion is Jenson Button ....who is English.David Coulthard was Scottish.

Oh... as for Andy Murray.

I hate tennis, but it is the only sport that my wife enjoys.She tells me that nadal is a very good player and a good sportsman after matches and in interviews.Andy Murray not only sounds like he is a miserable old toad, but looks like one.

If I were Andy Murray - I would wear a Scottish flag anyway....not a Union jack.
