I think it's quite sad, he always seemed to a good guy with the best of intentions. His stand out moment was during the four year plan documentary, when he chastised Palladini.
Thanks Amit.Comment

I'm staggered he stuck it out this long to be honest - I dunno the ins/outs of the financials but surely he's lost a shed load of cash helping to prop us up for a decade or more, probably letting his heart rule his head too. Fair play to him and I'm grateful for what he did for us. Would it be cheeky to wonder if one day he'll relinquish his name from the SA and allow us to re-sell the naming rights?Comment

The day that family arrived here I had my doubts of their intentions
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

He's been a back seat passenger for years and its Ruben who has been driving the club forward. He was the public face of the Board, but his family never seemed to want to be majority shareholders.Comment

So disappointed with Amit.
Exactly what this consortium planning to do with Liverpool - is what QPR needs.
Use the money to build a new stadium, grow as a club and build a steady foundation to reach, stay and challenge in the PL. He and his family felt like part of the QPR family….yeah and then this?
If he really loved-cared about this club, the consortium would be bidding for a deal with QPR, not Liverpool. Just money and prestige disguised in words of love and care. This and being a member of the advisory board of the Saudi Arabian governments cultural affairs and international relations unit (in English - the ones that helps the crazy Saudi regime gain influence, power and make money in England) proves that.
Thought you were better than this Amit.
Former QPR co-owner Amit Bhatia is leading a consortium in an attempt to purchase minority stake in Liverpool; Bhatia was QPRs co-owner until July 21, when he transferred his share of the club to Ruben Gnanalingam; an FSG spokesperson confirmed the talks to Sky Sports News

His name must be removed from the stand, we'll be a laughing stock have an owners name of another club on our stands.
Supporters are call for the Francis, Venables, Mcdonald stand.
But I think we should first investigate whether we can make some money from having it sponsored.
For us every avenue should be explored to get money in👍 2Comment

Sometimes to make money you have to do things that aren't always what the heart wants.
I bet if you gave Amit the choice of be an MD for Liverpool or see QPR be a Top5 Premier team he'd pick us being there based on his positive sayings and how engaged he was with the community side of things, but sometimes you get an opportunity you have to take it.Comment

”Everything being equal, I would like to be involved in this club for the rest of my life. Like any fan, the club that you love can be hugely frustrating, but you love it for a lifetime. I feel enormous frustrations at certain times, like our fans do, but at no point have I desired to walk away.”

Does he need more money?Sometimes to make money you have to do things that aren't always what the heart wants.

Maybe his engagement in the community was affected by the dealings with Hammersmith and Fulham borough over land, that the owners wants to own and not the way the borough suggested?
Maybe what he says and sometimes does isn’t his heart talking, rather what the consequences could be?
Are you a fan if you choose the way he did?
Do you then really love the club?Comment
