Thing is, we were on a run of form (that was soon about to fizzle out), Foxes were floundering and we were widely tipped to cause an upset. It was not on telly, 3pm Saturday and barely 100 miles away. Tickets were cheap, £15 I vaguely recall. We had beaten them in our league visit there 10 months before so hence 4000 Rs travelled only to see a fog-shrouded debacle.
If a game is attractive, fans will attend. It really all comes down to the draw... unfortunately we mostly seem to get a drab unattractive tie and I guess us fans take the view if the club cant be assed then why should I?
