Good money earner and a winnable game. Can't fault that draw.

Literally every other game will get on telly. Has to be an absolute turd of a game to not get shown - it just ain't gonna be Saturday at 3pm. I've got a nasty feeling it's gonna be Sunday at 5ish or 7ish. Just have to wait and see.Originally posted by 72bus View Post

Last season 17 games were NOT on Saturday (three were on the Thursday night)

There are midweek Prem games before the cup "weekend".
West Ham play the Tuesday night (there are no midweek EFL games, we are home to Wednesday on the Sunday before so we get more rest than them).
I'm guessing that the midweek Prem programme will preclude ties involving Prem clubs moving to the Thursday (and maybe even the Friday).
I think this game is nailed on for the Sunday - is just a case of what time beween 12pm and 8pm it kicks off.

West Ham have announced prices.
Looks dirt cheap, £20 at most but possibly just a tenner? Kids a quid too.
If you read bit about moving ST holders to accommodate QPR fans it would seem we are potentially getting the whole of Trevor Brooking stand -12500 seats.
Now there might be segregated empty areas and I'm not familair with their lay out but it would seem we WILL get at least 9000 tickets.

If there's 50,000 there at £20 average then we'll bag £500k. Hopefully any TV money will cover the costs of the stadium and policing.
But £500k would be every welcome and it's a very winnable game. They will almost certainly be concentrating their efforts on premiership survival.
For a local derby its a shame the tickets have been priced so cheaply.

There is massive rail engineering works that whole weekend - game will be a ball-ache to get to for any non-London based Hammers or Rs. If it's an early or late KO there would be a lot of empty seats if prices weren't discounted.Originally posted by SheepRanger View PostIf there's 50,000 there at £20 average then we'll bag £500k. In any case, a club can only discount tickets at the agreement of the visiting club. We must have sanctioned the prices ourselves (which is very sensible I think).
