Booking my ticket for Derby! Another away win planned, then back to Nottingham sharpish to enter a poker tournament in Dusk Till Dawn.

The end justifies the means, but I cant see a top 6 finish with that laboured performance against ten men!!

We are doing okay. We have 2 wins this month now and a chance of a third on Saturday to make-up for August when we won just one. Keep plugging away with 2 wins every month and we will remain in spitting distance of top 6.

There's not much to fear in this division and I don't think it'll take a massive points haul to get to 6th, probably 65ish points - that's why I keep banging on about 2 wins per month (plus a draw per month which always happens anyway) gets you 63pts at end of April. Then, just win last game of season on May 2nd to get 66pts (the total that Bristol City got in 6th last season).
It's really do'able as long as you don't spunk games up the wall with inexplicably half-arsed performances out of nowhere, and ruthlessly dispatch any opposition that show up weak or off-the-pace.

6 pts from the last four games is a 1.5 pt average, or a season average of 69 pts. Generally, you need circa 75 pts for 6th place, so we're off the pace a little at the moment.

Only one point off 6th at the moment so we need to refocus and start winning again. It's a funny ol' league the championship.

Agree Ipswich is now a massive game. I'm hoping for a sell out because that's what the team deserve. I personally don't think we are good enough for a top 6 place because none of our strikers are good enough which is a real shame because I thought Kone would be that man. I'd still be happy with mid table but a run at the top 6 would be extremely exciting and long over due, fingers crossed we can suprise a few me included.

Yeah, that header during the Derby game does suggest he's still in need of some development. Its still a head scratcher why Kolli isn't getting a go. Kone's whole persona suggests hes low on confidence and generally doesn't look that happy.

Two very winnable home games coming up but I guess a win and a draw would keep us close to the pack.

To be honest, I'm not sure our team (or fanbase) has the intestinal fortitude to maintain a consistent and concerted promotion push - I think we need too pootle along where we are, and lunge for the line in April. Too many people become mentally deranged when we are actually in the top 6.

That's true I remember being on the concourse at Peterborough and rakes of youngsters singing that silly Lyndon dykes song.
Being in contention for 6th will do me , but it looks like anyone of 10/15 teams could do it , look how high Millwall are .
