Well if its been decided he'll never play for the club again he'll be gone in Jan. It will be interesting to see whether we spend the fee on another player, or if it goes into the pot to pay wages for the season. I would wager the latter.Originally posted by cross it Dave View PostKoli definitely

I suspect Sheepy means we are 3pts behind the team currently in 6th. Best keep quiet though, we will inevitably shitthebed and get a nosebleed in next two gam3s if anyone starts believing we are on the march...Originally posted by cross it Dave View PostAway from what, I thought Loftus Rd was home?

Before today, we had one point from 12. One win and we're three points off 6th. And it's not as if we had points in the bag before that run of defeats.
There aren't any big teams in this league anymore and its up to the players and the fans to believe that we can get to the play offs. This championship is looking very average this season and we have the players to get there. Hopefully another run is about to start, but without a big losing streak after!!

Top 6 is deffo up for grabs this season - must be nigh on 20 clubs who can look at the table and feel that two wins on the spin propels them up the table and into contention.
Normally it's harder to catch teams at the top cos they keep picking up points irrespective of what we/others do. But, with so many teams being in the mix they cant ALL win cos they're playing each other (like us versus Hull yesterday) so a single win sees a leap up the table and the gap to top 6 close quicker then you'd think.
We're still miles off being solid and consistent - I dont think we have what it takes to mount a sustained charge. Our best hope is to keep in touch and have an end of season spurt over last 4 or 5 games.

On paper, you could be forgiven for thinking that we should easily be top 6 candidates. Coventry have looked best thus far but does anyone fancy their chances in the PL? We just need to keep building and become much less brittle. Maybe then....

Consistency is the keyword here. Yesterday was a perfect example of what we are capable of. How you maintain that god only knows. Bit more to do before l raise my hopes again. For me it doesn't matter what our PL chances are. Take the £150m and use it to become a more sustainable championship club. Long term the PL is not for us. Being a consistent top ten club in championship if fine by me and use occasional PL money to support that.Originally posted by daveshads View PostOn paper, you could be forgiven for thinking that we should easily be top 6 candidates. I think Leicester have their FA hearing this week about breaching F&P / PSR rules last time they got promoted. They're likely to face a significant points deduction and maybe a transfer embargo too.Originally posted by KLOS View PostLatest computer table projection has us finishing 15th - sounds plausible but Foxes 19th surely not- Wrexham 21st ?? nah
That's why they're predicted to finish lower than us.
