To sum up the French;
Very competent at many things, when they get it right, they really get it right, bread for example. But arrogance can bleed into things, prides come before a fall, they don't like to admit they are wrong, Citroens for example.
Sport is life. name nearly any sport and you'll find a Frenchie near the top. They are excellent at bringing on youth, the clubs and support given from local and national government is insane, i would suggest world leading. They are excellent under pressure, it's a cultural thing, across all sports but especially football, rugby, tennis and alpine sports like skiing. Not sure on the relevance here but it's pretty cool how much it's valued.
Never heard of this dude, i don't follow French football at all.
will he succeed at hq maybe I just hope he plays with some French flair and we don’t get another death by 1000 backwards sideways passes

I read the summary of his footballing style, which I posted, with dread. Another cautious defensive european manager. I hope I dont get into a trance snd fall asleep during games.

Well at least folks seem to be being proportionate and reserving judgement.
He starts with a blank sheet of paper as far as I'm concerned. He's not a chump and he's not the messiah.... he's simply our gaffer.
I don't give a monkeys' about his track record, appearance, charsima, demeanour and "buzz" about him. I just want him to set us up positively on the front foot, play with energy and get after teams, particularly at LR, and win near 20 games next season.
If he does that then job's a good 'un BUT if he fails on any of those fronts he has to come under scrutiny and expect to face criticism. Let's see how he's going a dozen games in.
Note to Nourry: do NOT get seduced into extending his contract during his two year stay. Manager contracts aren't like player contracts and they can eff off and do the dirty on us even when supposedly contractually "tied" to us. The manager either wants to be here or doesn't want to be here.... you can't buy their loyalty.

As with most on here know nothing about him. Had one particularly bad spell prior to a sacking, 1-9-8. That aside though seems to have a pretty good record with an average over 40% win rate.
Of the various managers linked with us he is potentially one of the most interesting so would be happy enough. His profile might also be well received by players we already have and those we are looking to bring in.
Lets hope we will have an announcement soon and it is not media BS.

Hasn't he breached his contract by speaking to another club without permission. Surely he might not receive any payout?!I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
