With the prospects in the youth team and where we are right now I think I'd rather Beale than anyone else I've seen mentioned so far.
But I never really cared that he left for rangers like some others.
Whoever it is that would do the lynching needs therapy. It's not like he's a wife abuser like Barton or a racist like Terry. As long as they don't have a character flaw like that I can forgive most mistakes and say put the best person for the job in charge. If it's Beale, it's Beale.
If (highly unlikely) Beale gets the job I'll be £600 better off, as I certainly won't be buying a season ticket this year.
It's nothing personal, I just think he's a c**t.
Think you will be £600 worse off and you certainly not sitting on the fence re option!!!!
once someone leaves us in the manner he did no coming back from it imo certainly no el tel off to Barca went to manage in a 2 horse race sadly at the level of L1 for most sides

Thing with Beale is his excellent start here had fizzled out before he cleared off, wasn't it 6 winless games or something? I'm not convinced he's "all that" anyway and if he had remained here we'd have crept down the table and ended up 16th-ish again. For me, Cardiff in 3rd tier is his natural level.
I dunno much about Cleverley but I was impressed with Watford's approach when we played them at our gaff. Thought they played attractive, honest, flowing football that day (as did we). His sacking from Watford does seem to have pee'd off most of their fans so he must have won them over despite their midtable finish.
Not Beale for me... His departure was ugly and I suspect many fans and players / potential players considering joining the club would find it hard to believe his vision for our future... We'd look a bit desperate and silly, and his track record doesn't really deserve any such approach on our part.
