Can't say I've seen much of his Os stuff but I did see one game where he clinically passed a ball into the net from 20yds. I remember thinking that's the type of ball that Chair, Smyth, Lloyd etc wildly slash a yard over and wide...

Let's face it, Charlie Austen was a peripheral figure for vast chunks of most games but he'd invariably pop up with a poachers's finish. If Kelman knows where the net is and has a knack/instinct for finishing we need to be forebearing about any weaknesses he might have, like say pace or close control or whatever.

I'm sure if he wasn't our player and we signed him over the summer I feel sure the majority of us would think it was a decent acquistion. I dont really see why it should be viewed differently cos he's returning from being farmed out on loan?

We're hardly overflowing with goals scoring options so bring him back so Marti can assess if he's good enough. He's a more mature player now from the one we saw, so we can't look back to previous performances in our shirt.

If he's not good enough then one of the relegated teams, or top L1 sides, will have to stump up some cash to buy him from us.

Totally different regarding Sir Les he came back as a specimen. Worked on the weights and was a proper athlete I don't think Kelman could be more of an opposite comparison

He (Ferdinand) went to Besiktas, I remember when he came back and I first saw his name come up as goalscorer on teletext and wondering who the hell he was.

I'd release him this Summer. Purple patch last few weeks. 8 goals in 7 matches. Before that, 12 in 35 matches.

2 goals against Crawley and Mansfield. Two of weakest teams in League.

Not good enough, had chance with us, didn't take it.

    We've got nothing to lose..

Marti will have Summer to assess him and 6ish games of next season to potentially play him before transfer window shuts in September. Plenty of time to decide if he's "Snog, Marry or Avoid" kinda thing...

One very positive thing he's shown irrespective of quality of L1 is his robustness and durability. Given Celar, Frey, Lloyd and Kolli spend most of their time in the sick room, the simple fact Kelman appears physically capable of lasting the pace of a 46-game season AND playing 90mins without needing 2 weeks in an oxygen tent afterwards must be of interest to us.

I don't care how many goals he's scoring in a #### poor division, many average strikers have done well in league 1. I've seen enough to know he's found his level. His movement is bloody awful and hopefully his goals warrants us to maybe get a million quid out of it if we're lucky.
Whilst I agree he hasn't done anything of note for us in his time here, he's only 23 years old. He came to us from Southend as a spotty teenager for 250k.

He was played out of position or up top on his own which doesn't suit him. He's a box player. He can finish. It would be very short sighted of our club to decide he's not good enough when you see the likes of celar, Lloyd and frey being our senior strikers..Kelman is in better form than anything our lot can show in terms of being fit and scoring goals.

Give him a shot in pre season but he has to play alongside someone. If sheff utd go up i would go for keiffer Moore on a season long loan and start him and kelman. Get rid of celar. Loan out Lloyd. Frey off the bench. Sell kolli if someone offers 5m plus. Keep CK is the manager wants to play 2 strikers. If not then sell CK this summer. Win win either way.

19 goals in the league. Stansfield on 18 and cost 15 million. 9 of those have been pens.
Good to see that you can still score goals and not cost a lot. Think we paid 250k for CK.

Must be worth 3 million if we decide to sell?

All a bit academic really. We'll doubtless flog him below his value, then splash the proceeds on a ner do well whom we let go for a pittance.

If Kelman can be brought back he absolutely should be, to test him out for next year, or sell him.

Smyth went away and came back better, but if we think he's going to start knocking in 20 goals a season for us we're dreaming surely?

It would be great to have another look, or, cash in right now.

Leyton Orient fans are arguing he is worth £5 million. Do we have any current players worth that much? I wonder.
