Although Burnley have drawn quite a few games they've only lost 1 so far this season. Still early days but they're obviously the team to beat at the moment (not discounting us obviously).

And no bad team either, So no "easy " home fixture ( not that was ever the case with us over the years). It is virtually impossible to say what teams will be promoted this season and which will be relegated.

your right, it is a close division.
if coventry, who are third bottom, were to win all their three games in hand, that would put them joint fifth.

Agree. However, world cup gives 4 week break. Season split into two parts for vast majority of our players. Recovery time. We might get through it with current squad.

All this is nothing new really , it's always been a tight league year in year out, probably the hardest league in the world to get out of, we are in a very good place at the moment, all we can do is play each game on its own merits and trust in the ability of the players and the manager, that will take us where it takes us, come what may
