We are a top 10 team at best unfortunately. The manager made a complete balls up of it in January. His insistence on a small squad has backfired as we have no depth and as a consequence we can't change formations when we need to as we don't have the players available to do it. His putting on Austin and 10 mins later gray confirmed he has ran out of ideas. Need a change in the summer. Starting with the manager unfortunately. He's a good guy but he has hit his ceiling here.

If in fact MW is sacked it will be down to the disastrous January transfer window, anyone could see we were so thin at striker in numbers and quality, bringing an ageing Austin back was more sentimental than sensible, Dykes was poor most of last season and all of this and Gray on loan certainly wasn't the answer! I am convinced with even one good striker we should have been in the play offs, we move on however!Originally posted by Dono77 View PostWe are a top 10 team at best unfortunately. Clearly the coach(es) have no clue how to tell their players to pick up the pace and press forward, especially in a must win game where they trail late in the game.
Worse, our players seem not to understand it either. No urgency, no press forward, no recognition of the moment.
Understand the injuries have made the current assignment a real challenge.
But there’s no excuse for that kind of effort in a game with those kinds of stakes with no adjustment in strategy.
