    George thomas

Now I'm not saying he is the answer by any means but maybe worth a try upfront ? Has pace to run in behind and can't fault his effort!

Leave off , fair enough he was what we needed to run around and be a pest last nite . But don't want to watch football like that every day

I like him. He's nippy and industrious plus he seems to make things happen. However, aside from last night he does seem to lack an end product - I feel he gets a sort of "tunnel vison" when he gets in advanced positions and doesn't see options. Ultimately, defenders hate facing pace and George can definitely pose problems for opponents with his pace and energy.

I strongly think he's well worth his place in the squad and is a handy sub to bring on. I can't see he's a viable starter up front though.

I like him as well, proper little pocket rocket full of energy, I think given a bit more game time, he will improve, ok he's not world class, but energy enthusiasm and industry are not bad assets to have, and the way he was mobbed by the rest of the team he seems to definately be in the team so to speak, he may well have a bigger part to play in the latter part of the season

he has pace and energy and i think is so keen to impress when he comes on that he panics a bit - has missed a few chances - last night he got it right - lets hope it gives him the confidence to push on....but i suspect he will be moved on in the summer

He's a great player to bring on in the latter stages of games. He offers something different and always gives 100% (unlike some other players). However I don't see him as a real solution to our problems.

How he got 0 mins yesterday the way the game was going was pathetic from the coaching staff tbh.

He clearly doesn't fancy him Shania going by the mins he's had this season.

What makes it more baffling is the fantastic impact Thomas had against Blackpool to then not get a single minute.

                    Baffling & frustrating.

their hand was slightly forced by having to make the swap of the keeper at half time ...

It's a fair point but that was half time. Longer the game went on you could see we were crying out for some energy and someone to take the game by the scruff of the neck. He opted for McCallum and Grey. I get both to an extent but after him changing the game against Blackpool I felt he deserved a run out.

To be fair, Dieng went off injured, Willock because he had a stinker of a game and we needed a striker on and I didn't see why Adomah went off, was he injured too?

I certainly wouldn't have wanted Thomas to replace Adomah as a wing back and it seemed clear that Warburton wanted to stick with 3 CBs as usual, the latter being the real problem.
