I just checked on Kakay's Sierra Leone result and noticed that they have 5 players in their matchday squad called Kamara, 4 of them were on the pitch at the end of the match and 2 of them scored - it must have been a commentator's nightmare! I'll be betting on Kamara to score in their next match...lol.

Steven Caulker also played in defence for SL.

It's playing out exactly as I thought it would, total farce, no crowds, hardly any goals, no entertainment value at all.
This tournament is all about football politics pure and simple, and people lining their pockets, same as the Qatar world cup bid

I would agree that Afcon has been disappointing in general but one thing that has stood out for me is there is much less holding and grappling at set pieces which can only be better for the game as a spectacle.

Nouhou Tolo , the left back for Cameroon is a bit good....plays for Seattle Sounders....not sure if he'd be a fit for us playing wing backs but thought I'd share my thoughts.

Surely the match will have to be replayed ?
They want people to take the tourament seriously but Comoros have had to start without a recognised goalkeeper tonight (outfield player playing in goal), no way should that happen, emergency replacement would surely be allowed in any other tournament. To make matters worse for Comoros they've had a player sent off after 6 minutes.

Incredible - i imagine there aren't many more goalkeepers in Comoros...they have already lost 3!

but i can't imagine them letting it happen in the Euros...they could have postponed it a few days to allow the cover players a better chance of recovering!

To be honest Sleeping Giants I’ve lost interest in watching Afcon, lots of expensive players playing for some of the biggest clubs all over the world but none have shown any exciting skills or tricks.

Will probably watch again in the latter stages of the competition.

Morocco knocked out so Chair will be heading back to HQ sometime soon.

Good & F in waste of time Chair being out there having played only 30mins, didn’t watch a single match as not interested & shouldn’t of gone ahead

It will be good to have Chair back for Middlesbrough at home which is a wk on Wednesday. Won't need him for fa cup
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

He could probably benefit from the game time though, he's only played 30 mins in AFCON.
