Yes. Some years 4 goals in the tournament wins golden boot. Dykes getting a goal or two would literally triple his re-sale value so wanting him to hit the net is entirely reasonable thinking for Rs fans I reckon. As it stands, whatever you think of his performance yesterday it was still better than Harry Kane's useless effort for England.

Abs has lost the plot. I know kane was off his game but I don't think we should compare them on 1 performance. Kane scores goals for fun and dykes definitely doesn't. He looked every bit league 1 level. Apart from his little flurry at the end of the season we will need much better to cover when Austin is injured

With all respect to Dykes being compared to kane is a compliment imo. Put Kane in with Grealish he plays further up put Sterling in he drops off and lets him use pace behind.

Scotland were pish poor all over yesterday not just Dykes no doubt England will play 9 in defence v Scotland under boregate
