    April

It looks like the team have turned a corner that at the very least puts us as competitive against any side and i'm bloody happy with that. Well done.

Millwall and Hudders are important games considering where they are in the table, if we want to press for a top 10 finish, both are do-able, both lose-able, like any game in the league depends which teams show up.

But just have a look at Aprils fixture list. That is hard, 7 games with some less than 2 days apart. I think we need to get realistic with squad depth and accept this starting 11 we have is going to need a decent shake up, maybe the next two games are a good time to get some subs on early, and not the usual suspects either. it's game time. I'd like to see more of kelman and maybe even this Armstrong fella up front, I'd like to see some changes in formation that don't rely on wingbacks as you can't expect Wallace and Kane to perform with that many games on the bounce.

The last 3 games in April are against bloody good teams aswell.

Tough month coming up, lots of football!

    Huddersfield 13th March
    Millwall 17th March
    Reading 20th March
    Coventry 2nd April
    Forest 5th Aptil
    Wednesday 10th April
    Rotherham 13th April
    Middlesbrough 17th April
    Swansea 20th April
    Norwich 24th April

Lots of winnable games. Teams needing points for play offs and Autos are gonna fear playing us.

I think we'll take 16 points from, that final 30 points available

We have 12 games remaining and our season has been extended to include two games in May.

        Huddersfield 13th March
        Millwall 17th March
        Reading 20th March
        Coventry 2nd April
        Forest 5th Aptil
        Wednesday 10th April
        Rotherham 13th April
        Middlesbrough 17th April
        Swansea 20th April
        Norwich 24th April
        Stoke 1st May
        Luton 8th May

There are a lot of very winnable games there. Reading, Boro, Swansea, Norwich and Stoke being the difficult ones on paper. There are 7 very winnable games if you believe we should be beating teams below us in the league (yes they will be fighting relegation).

7W 3D 2L is the very most we can expect and those 25 points will take us to 71 points, which would still be short of the play off positions.

I'd be happy with 5w 4D 3L which is 19 points and a finish of 65pts. That is 8 points better than last season which is progress.

I think we could win all of those games if they were spaced out. We're gonna have to do some serious juggling to keep players fit and competitive.

Currently we're 3pts better off than we were at same stage last season. You'd think we could end up bettering last season's total but I'm not sure..... I feel we could just as easily win the next 5 as lose the next 5 - it's impossible to predict really. At least we seem to be significantly more secure at the back now - a few months back it felt like we needed to score 2 or 3 to get a draw.

We can win all these games realistically.
Or we can lose them all too.
Thats the type of team we are.
But since Charlie Austin signed back with us we are a team that have had a big injection of confidence.
Ideally would really like us to beat Wall, Fakes, Swans, the five fingered mustard eaters, and Looton

I agree, I think 18 points is winnable.

I don't think either of those teams will have anything to play for either, come the end of the season.

We could just easily win those games as lose them.
QPR are playing with a lot more confidence (Dykes not included) so I wouldn't be surprised if they pick up 12-15 points from these fixtures.

Don't forget that their players will be just as tired from having to squeeze in fixtures in this compressed season - they don't all have big squads filled with quality players either.

I've noticed there are some ropey pitches popping up now too. Didn't have the normal May-Aug break and the relentless 2 games per week is definitely taking its toll. Will get quite a few strange bounces and bobbles at some grounds - a leveller or random factor to throw up some quirky results. I must say that the KPF pitch looks okay so far though.
