    Proud but Gutted

The boys did well today and away from home, just a shame they were awarded a penalty at the end which changed it all. Our fans got to see us give them a game today at least.

Watched the stream and I agree, most put in a shift.

Thought we deserved at least a point, but we never take the easy route.
At least now we can plan for next season and give more of the youngsters a run out in the last 2 games.

True but we had good chances to score....that’s our real problem, no goals in this side. The Swansea game was clearly a fluke - thank the Lord!!!

Thought the ref second half was an absolute disgrace. Gave us nothing and as for penalty, never in a million years. Recon he took a bung st half time.

Three takeaways: (1) Starting to see a winning nucleus of a team moving forward -- Furlong, Bos, Manning awesome today; (2) We will not miss Nahki and Tomer next year; they are both mediocre strikers who've had a full season of Championship football to prove themselves; (3) We DO need goal scorers. Bos should improve on that front next year. Chair and Smyth coming back into the squad should help.

We should of and could of been 2-0 up in that game. The lads played really well and on another day we could of easily got 3 points from that game let alone one.

Stupid tackle for freeman to make in the 93rd minute but at least we are safe.

I'm delighted Rotherham lost to confirm our league status ,BUT I'm certainly not "proud" at losing 2-0 to Derby and not proud about losing 17 out of our previous 20 games (or is it worse?),we have been dire . NOT proud of our team at all,no offence MYU

I feel fans are on dodgy ground if they are pinning their hopes on smyth who can’t get a game at Accrington and chair who has played a handful of games in league 2.Our recruitment this summer will be vital , and I think it’s good so many players are out of contract as things need to change.

Proud to 19th in the league with 2 league wins this year! Just shows you how far we have sunk in the last 7.5 years and we have not even near the bottom yet. Glad we stayed up but would love to know the plan going forward as this is not the receipe for a successful football club.

Perhaps Teflon Les will pipe up and let us all know his plan for next season? As our DOF since we were in the Prem league he has to take some responsibility for the dire situation the club is in.... Starting each new season with a relegation fight being our sole expectancy simply isn’t acceptable going forward. At this rate we'll be playing home games in front of 7,000.

Just posted on another thread about the two teams that went up with us in 13/14 season. Both established premier league teams with a league title each behind them. Well run and investment made correctly unlike this circus that we have at Rangers.
